Kiriya & Yamato: Is sooooo cool.
Shibuki: Nothing but lies! You haven't seen it, have you?
Yamato: We've seen it! I always watch the scene where you and Kurara-chan (Emi) are at the church from the wings. That part where you kiss (Laughs)
Shibuki: The place where we kiss? You want to kiss?
Kiriya: Really! Nathan1 (Yamato)!! You don't kiss (me)!!
Yamato: (Laughs)
Kiriya: I always am watched the dance in the prologue.
Shibuki: Hey, wait, you're talking before you've gotten everything put together. (Laughs)
Kiriya: It's wonderful. Especially the way you use your hat and wear a suit. You really sparkle. I suppose everyone thinks that…
Shibuki: It's because we used suits a lot in Flower Troupe, where I was for 10 years. So, this time I think it just kind of came naturally.
And Kiriyan (Kiriya), your stage performance is a lot cuter than in the practice hall, huh?
Kiriya: (Laughs)
Shibuki: It's become incredibly cute.
Kiriya: No, it's not. As for me, well…
Shibuki: Something happened? (Laughs)
Kiriya: No, no, nothing! (Laughs) It's just, at the practice hall, I lost my confidence. Everything was terrible, terrible, terrible. I couldn't figure out what was good to do. But then my partner Yamato-san kindly gave me her ideas. She's the one who told me "cute." If someone else had said that, it wouldn't have done any good.
I thought about what she said, and it cured me a little. And so, bit by bit, I began to listen to Yamato-san's suggestions. "How is it? Today? Cute?"
Yamato: (Laughs)
Kiriya: And I think she won't tell her real feelings…
Yamato: That's ridiculous!
Kiriya: She worries about me.
Yamato: We're shy of each other I guess. But, lately, when I look at Kiriya-san – she's become pretty cute. (Laughs)
Shibuki: You two are all love-love, huh? (Laughs)
Kiriya: Noooooo! It's not to the point of "Love-love." (Laughs)
Yamato: It's love-love. (Laughs)
Kiriya: Whatever it is, it's a weird feeling. Tani (Yamato) and I are close together before makeup too.
Yamato: And so we're always "Itte kimaaaasu" and "Itte rashaiiiii"2 and all.
Shibuki: You do that? (Laughs)
Kiriya: Yes. My whole day really starts with sending him3 off.
Yamato: Inside my heart, it's going "Pu-pu-pu" and I get butterflies in my stomach.
Shibuki: The birth of a new couple. I wonder if that's good or bad? This love sprouting up and all. (Laughs) At Christmas, you two exchanged rings, right? But I guess you must have broken up right afterwards… (Laughs)
Kiriya&Yamato: (Laugh)
Kiriya: That was just us playing around, right?
Yamato: Yeah, yeah. (Laughs)
Kiriya: Oh, and she gave me this too. (Showing the ring she's wearing)
Shibuki: Is that genuine?
Kiriya: Well, just to the two of us. It's the real thing, huh, Nathan?
Yamato: Uh-huh (Laughs)
Kiriya: It's about 8 carats. (Laughs) But on the first day I forgot my ring.
Shibuki: A-ah!
Kiriya: When I was singing, I looked at my hand and "Ah! No ring!" (Laughs) If I went outside, I would have gotten all dirty… I really owe Nathan a big apology. I'm so sorry!
Yamato: It's okay, it's okay. (Laughs)
Kiriya: It's not because of a lack of love, it's just because I didn't want to get dirty.
Shibuki: You're a smooth talker, huh?

Shibuki: I think Sky's costumes have become a lot more chic than they were at the premiere.
Yamato: Like the way they use color?
Shibuki: Yeah. You know, there's a costume I like among Tani's. You see, it looks like the handle on a yukata a child would wear. (Laughs)
Yamato: Is it the suit with the black background and the yellow stripes?
Shibuki: That's the one! It's incredibly cute!!
Kiriya: I love that one too.
Yamato: I like it too. And that white costume of Kiriya-san's at the beginning of the second act…
Kiriya: Cute, right? (Laughs)
Yamato: Yes.
Shibuki: Speaking of which, that first part is incredible…
Kiriya: You didn't think "Ge-ge-ge…"?
Shibuki: Well, I thought that, but (Laughs) – I've come to enjoy it.

Kiriya: It was really a lot of bother for him but… Just because of his kindness, I was happy.
Yamato: (Laughs) (Looking at the wig Shibuki is setting) Rika-san, you're really good at that!
Shibuki: It's because when I retire I'm going to do "Salon de Rika." (Laughs)
Yamato: When you're finished Rika-san, it's going to be incredibly beautiful.
Shibuki: Does he love this too?
Yamato: Yes!
Kiriya: Really? If Nathan says it's good, it must be.

Shibuki: Sara (Emi) and Adelaide's (Kiriya's) scene is really interesting, isn't it?
Kiriya: It seems that Sky and Nathan are more interesting. In that vision.
Shibuki: I don't do anything that's interesting.
Yamato: I don't do anything at all.
Shibuki: Then why is there all that laughing?
Kiriya: We can't see you two. What do you do?
Shibuki: It's a secret. (Laughs)
Kiriya: Ehhhh! I'm worried. They're supposed to be our own fantasies, but not being able to see them, it's really stressful!
Yamato: Well, maybe we can tell just a little bit…
Shibuki: Yeah. But the part that gets the most laughs.
Yamato: That's Rika-san's purple apron.
Shibuki: Hey, that's new. (Laughs)
Yamato: It's a gorgeous apron.
Shibuki: You know that scene, I said to our troupe head (Ritsu Tomomi) "I can't do that!" and she was kind enough to guide me. With how to hang up the laundry. (Laughs)
Kiriya: (Laughs) What's funny is that in your entire life you've never had the experience of putting out laundry.
Yamato: So it's nothing but a fantasy. Oh, and you're coddling a baby too, right?
Shibuki: I'm coddling. (Laughs)

Kiriya: Yamato-san, one time your mustache came off, right?
Yamato: Yeah, it did. In a scene with Kiriya-san. (Laughs)
Kiriya: She tried to put it on again, but it wouldn't stick.
Shibuki: Kiriyan, you should have said you'd put it back on.
Yamato: She pushed on it for me, but it just kind of hung there.
Kiriya: I'm still no good at adlibs… Saying something like, "Oh my! Your mustache!" or doing something would have been good but…
Shibuki: You're both still bad at adlibs, huh?
Kiriya & Yamato: Soooooooo bad!
Shibuki: You could have said, "You need a shave!" or something and taken it off.
Kiriya: You're right, of course. I always regret it afterwards, "Oh! If only I'd done that, it would have been great!"
Yamato: I'm the same way. Rika-san is really wonderful. When I mess up she always follows through for me. Me, I'm left cold and can't think of anything to return.
Shibuki: That's because I used to make a lot of mistakes. (Laughs) Of course, if you can do it perfectly that's best but… When you make a mistake, you've already done it, so it's all in how you can follow through, right? When I dropped Aoko in Ima Sumire Hana Saku (Now the Violets Bloom), I also ran into Kasugano-sensei. She said, "After you've dropped her, how you pick her back up is essential." It's important to follow through in character, without letting the mistake cripple you.

Shibuki: Since lately there's been a lot of members of senka in our shows, it's a very valuable experience having only troupe members this time. I feel like we can all truly support each other again. This isn't self-praise, but… Everyone's so steady, I don't think you're underclassmen anymore.
Kiriya: No! We're not there yet!
Yamato: I'm always thinking how I need to make it stronger. Everyday, while I'm standing on stage, I feel I can do more and more, I can make it more enjoyable. Day by day, I'm evolving, and I want to try even harder.
Kiriya: I had so many fears on the opening night, but now I enjoy every performance. And soon it'll all be over. From now on, as I'm aiming higher, I want to enjoy everything along with the audience. Aside from cultivating my love for Nathan, of course. (Laughs)
Shibuki: We're doing a revival, which is a really great feeling. On the other hand, there's also a lot of pressure, and since the stage movement is set, you can end up hemmed in. But, this is a piece where, if you can't enjoy performing, the audience can't enjoy it either.
I was trying too hard, and I forgot this most essential part. I didn't realize it until the eve of the premiere. It's really a very important thing, isn't it? From now on, we shouldn't forget that. And while we're enjoying ourselves, we can make a dream for the audience, so that from the very beginning they say, "That was fun!"
